FAQ:

How can I purchase tickets for someone else?

When you purchase tickets, you will be asked on the final review page to enter the first and last name of your guest and tell us what sessions they are attending. We ask for this information so we can be sure to have your guest's name at the door at each event. However, it is best if they bring the confirmation email or printout of the receipt page with them to the event.

Can I make my own itinerary for the weekend?

Yes. Select one, two, or however many events you can fit into the weekend! Each is priced individually, allowing you to mix and match to suit your schedule and interests.

If I purchase a ticket to a session, do I have to pay to go to the Gourmet Marketplace?

No, every ticket for each individual session allows you entry to the Gourmet Marketplace for both Saturday and Sunday.

Will I receive ticket(s) in the mail?

No. You need to bring a printout of either your confirmation email or your receipt (which is the last page of your ticket transaction) along with a photo ID.

If I need to cancel, can I get my money back?

We're sorry, tickets are nonrefundable. Tickets may not be exchanged for a different event.

Do any additional fees apply to the cost of the tickets?

Yes, the required 8.375% New York City sales tax will be applied to all orders.

Is there a minimum age for attendees?

By law you must be 21 to attend any session where alcohol is served. No exceptions will be made. Please check the schedule to see what sessions will serve alcohol.

Where can I stay if I am from out of town?

Gourmet has secured discounted nightly rates. Go to the hotel page and click on the link to get the phone number for a Gourmet Travel Specialist who will help you book all your hotel, flight and car transfers.

Where can I park?

Will there be any transportation provided throughout the weekend?

There will be no organized transportation. All venues are easily accessible via bus, subway, or taxi. See the directions page for information, maps and subway directions.

What is the dress code for the weekend?

Casual attire.

Do any proceeds from the event go to charity?

Yes, a portion of the proceeds will go to a City Harvest, an organization committed to ending hunger in communities throughout New York City. They do this through food rescue and distribution, education, and other practical, innovative solutions.

Can I purchase tickets for sessions at the door?

There may be a limited quantity of tickets available for the purchase at the door. Check the Schedule and Tickets page to see what sessions are sold out. We cannot guarantee that tickets will still be available for sessions on the event day, so better to purchase in advance. Tickets that are available for sale at the door may be purchased with cash or credit card.

Can I purchase tickets to the Gourmet Markeplace at the door?

Tickets will be available for purchase at the door based on a first-come, first-served basis. Capacity is limited. We recommend you buy your tickets early.

What chefs will be participating in the book signings in the Gourmet Marketplace?

We are currently working to secure and schedule the list of chefs participating in the book signings. Once we have this information, we will post it on the Gourmet Marketplace page. Additionally, we will be making other updates to the Gourmet Marketplace page periodically, so please check back for more information.

What happens if I lose/misplace my email confirmation or receipt?

Not a problem! You are able to reprint your receipt by clicking on purchase tickets and then selecting the My Account tab on the top of the page. Once you log in, you can select "Print your e-ticket" and simply reprint it.
